Resolute Health is proud to introduce a new approach to caring for seniors that impacts all aspects of their wellbeing—keeping the body, mind and spirit healthy. And Resolute Health is also reaching out to younger patients in schools with our e-Visit program—the first in South Central Texas allowing physicians to diagnose and prescribe medications for students via videoconference.
Resolute Health e-Visit
The e-Visit program is an innovative and convenient way for doctors at our Urgent Care clinic to examine students remotely via groundbreaking telemedicine technology that transmits vital signs. Using special cameras, the school nurse can show the doctor close-up pictures, allowing them to make an accurate and timely diagnosis.
The program kicked off this past week at Canyon High School. We’re working to expand the program to other Comal ISD schools soon.
Introducing the Institute for Longevity
Resolute Health has opened a one-of-a-kind medical program aimed specifically at the needs of our older patients.
Led by Anthony Bienek, DO, the Institute for Longevity (IFL) will provide a comprehensive suite of care that goes beyond the medical needs of seniors, providing behavioral health, fitness, nutrition and social support services. With a goal of total quality of life improvement, a multidisciplinary team will carefully tailor an individual plan to improve each patient’s physical and mental health and wellbeing. IFL will be located in the Center for Wellbeing, sharing space with the Endocrine & Diabetes Institute. Because many physician practices are full or don’t accept Medicare, options for seniors in our area are limited. The Institute for Longevity will accept Medicare along with other insurance plans, making care more affordable and accessible. The institute promises to be a new model for helping seniors get the most out of their golden years.
