The Endocrine and Diabetes Institute at the Resolute Health Center for Wellbeing provides people with full health and wellness options for complete care ranging from endocrinology services and metabolic disorders to pre-diabetes, and diabetes care and self-management. This allows more people to stay in our area for care, rather than having to go to San Antonio or Austin.

Mission

There is a 12% rate of diabetes in Comal County alone, and if left untreated that rate is expected to jump to 25% of the population by 2040. So we’re getting proactive to make sure that this doesn’t become a reality for our community. The Center for Wellbeing brings together specialized doctors, personalized treatment plans and state-of-the-art medicine to help those with diabetes. But more important, the center focuses on programs and initiatives that improve the health status of our community.

National Certification

The Endocrine and Diabetes Institute at the Center for Wellbeing is certified by the American Association of Diabetes Educators comprehensive and effective diabetes self-management education to all patients.
