Dementia is an umbrella term that refers to a range of neurological conditions that affect the brain and worsen over time, such as Alzheimer’s disease. Dementia is a loss of cognitive functioning and behavioral abilities to the point of interfering with a person’s daily activities. While it is normal to lose some brain neurons as we age, people living with dementia lose a lot more. This condition is not a normal part of aging. Ways to Help Prevent Dementia
There is no definite way to prevent dementia, but here are steps you can take to help reduce your risk of developing this condition:
